What do u do now? I find it easiest to shower at night then just get a wash in the morning before DH goes to work. If your eldest is 4 can't they entertain themselves and you can take baby in the bathroom with u if you want to shower in the mornings?

I tried to grab a shower before dh left for work in the early days but my eldest was younger than yours. Could the 4yo watch TV and the baby sit in a bouncy chair in the bathroom?

I used to try and feed the baby first before getting anyone else ready too.

I find it easier to get a shower before bed as the DCs are asleep and DH is here.

I have four DCs so have the school run to do and don't have time to shower before school unless I get up at half five which isn't ideal when I don't get much sleep.

When I only had dd1 and ds1, I used to feed ds and give dd her breakfast, then put ds to sleep in his bed and get dd settled upstairs with toys/tv while I got a very quick shower with the door open so dd could get to me.

My daughter is nearly 4, she takes care of herself while I'm in the shower but knows to come and get mummy if she needs me (door is always unlocked). When she was a baby I used to put her in the bouncy chair in the bathroom, because she was happy enough if she could see me. I'll do the same with this one. I'm obviously a sweaty minger because I can't stand not showering in the morning. My hair is also horrific, so a morning shower is essential in my book! It wakes me up for the day too.

Just now we both get up at 7 (Ds and i. Dh works nights) have breakfast together then I get a shower, Ds watches TV.

Bouncy chair in the bathroom could work, yes a morning shower is definitely an essential also my hair is long and wild!

Expecting DC2 now but I have a TV in my bedroom which already comes in useful when DC1 needs amusing while I get dressed. I'll be popping him in front of Milkshake like I do now, and he's nearly three - sure your four-year-old wi be better behaved and capable of sitting still while you and baby are in the bathroom?

It's very boring but I get every single possible thing it can ready the night before make sure I know where everything is hairbrush, bobbles etc as for showering I either do it the night before or when I get back from school. My 8 month old sleeps from 9-10 so it gives me some time to dry hair etc

I am currently pregnant with no4 and bit concerned how I will fit getting another one fed and ready in! :)
