Just wondered if there are any other expectant Type 1s out there? Come and keep me company!

Hi, can I join? I've just found out I'm pg and could do with some hand holding. It was planned, going to ring my lovely diabetic nurse today and see when they need to see me. Should I also tell my gp?

Hi Zyla and congratulations. It's a bit quiet round here but I'm happy to do any hold handing I did go to see my GP and he just got things rolling a bit quicker for me as you need to be referred to the consultant team. It's hard work being a pregnant diabetic but it's worth it.

I'm now 15+2 and touch wood all is going well. Good luck

ThAnks. The diabetic nurse at the hospital is getting me booked in with the joint diabetes and antenatal clinic, and I'm going to try and get an appt at gp tomorrow morning.
