Endless nightmares

Is anyone else having endless nightmares and stress dreams during pregnancy? I don't remember having this problem with DD, but second time round I have 5-6 nightmares (that I remember and wake up from) every night and it's wearing me out. It all started very early in the pregnancy (2wks?) and I am now at 21wks with no end in sight.

Life is good, the pregnancy was very much wanted, I can't see any psychological reason for the nightmares, nor is there a common theme that might explain them.

Sleep apnoea?

I'm not snoring or snorting or anything that DP has noticed. He has sleep apnoea and you can really tell when sleeping with him, you can hear him stop breathing, catch his breath suddenly, etc.

I had very vivid nightmares about the baby and dh leaving me! No basis for them and he didn't leave, I think it was just all if my worries coming out in my sleep. They lessened around six months I think.

Yup. I think it's quite common, due to the hormonal changes. I'm looking forward to having 'normal' dreams after pregnancy. It's exhausting being so creative in your sleep!

Stupid hormones! Last night I was a superhero but I didn't know what my superpower might be and my superwatch was not working - which apparently was very important. Go figure!
