Hardening of stomach

Hi guys,

Bit of a random one but I am worrying about everything!! I'm 11 weeks today, have horrible all day sickness amongst various other symptoms. However I've heard that my stomach/uterus should have started hardening by now but it doesn't feel any different to me?! I'm a slim build anyway and my stomach has always been fairly toned so I don't know if it's that?
But whatever I read suggests I should have noticed this by now and I haven't so I'm worrying a bit!

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I'm almost 20 weeks and mine's still not hard properly. I also still can't feel my uterus, even though the doctor's tried to teach me many times! Try not to worry, everyone's body is different. My bump just popped out of nowhere at about 16 weeks but some days still looks like I've just eaten too much cheese, rather than being a solid baby bump!

My belly didn't seem to harden with my first until I started to get a bump at around 18 weeks. And like Porcito I also struggled to feel my uterus, despite everyone telling me I should have been able to.

Also, your bump won't always feel hard. I am 37 weeks with number 2 now and sometimes the bump is like a rock- mainly at night when I am sleeping, and other times, like now, it is soft. Depends on the position of the baby.

Really no need to worry. Everyone is different.

I was rubbish at finding mine, couldn't till after I had a bump (week 18)! DH and Dr could, just me I suppose. Don't worry! :)

22 weeks and my bump isn't totally hard, plenty of squishy bits... Figure it's from where I've lost weight in the past. Baby is all good and healthy. Try not to worry about it!

At 11 weeks I don't think your uterus will have grown enough to rise above your pubic bone yet. I'm 15 and have only just started to feel a hardening above my bladder.
