Sore and slightly itchy down there...

5.5wks and I feel sore (particularly after wiping but the rest of the time too) and slightly itchy (it doesn't itch but then I wipe it and it feels like I've scratched an itch if that makes sense) around my labia. Not really inside.

No weird discharge and nothing smelly so I'm not thinking thrush.

Any ideas? Can I just use canesten?

I have had very tender and sore bits on and off throughout this pregnancy, sometimes thought was thrush, sometimes def not but either way just slapped on the canesten, it won't hurt. Since 30 weeks (now 40+2) it's been much better. I do think it's hormonal more than infective. Hope it eases up soon as makes you feel rotten x
