I'm 36 weeks preg and feel huge! I feel as though he's taking over my whole body! I can feel him moving about down below and then I can feel him really high up right under my boobs! I feel I am carrying the worlds biggest baby and he's taking over my body! I can't breathe sometimes he's that high up and then it goes rock hard!! Arghh anyone else getting squashed!!!!!

That was me 8yrs and 6yrs ago. The little toads somehow decided my lung space was a perfect place to snuggle in Hmm. It was like wearing a corset those last few weeks. My dc's weren't even that big (both just over 7lbs) and I'm not short.

I gave up sitting on the sofa because it squashed them into my lungs even more. Lying on my side was ok because they flopped away from my lungs. I enjoyed going to the gym because I had to be upright while I was there.

And I took the BIGGEST deep breath when I had my sections and they slid out of my lung space Smile. Part of me was thinking "yay! my baby is fine!" and the other part was thinking "thank GOD I can bloody breathe properly now".

I feel like that too and I am only 32 weeks, I just want to breath!

I feel like that too! I am only 31 weeks but baby is huge for dates. I find sitting on my ball better than on the sofa. In general just feel so squashed. I am hoping they will induce me at 37 weeks (which depends on next growth scan).

I'm the same - though baby is predicted to be 'only' around 7lb. I'm short though. Bloody uncomfortable!

Suzietwo · 05/05/2014 14:51

I'm here too. But now it's starting to engage I wish it hadn't as even more painful. It was reckoned to be 'just under 9lbs' at 35 weeks but I don't think she's right.

Basically the end of pregnancy is fvcking awful. I had forgotten how unpleasant.

Isn't it just? I'm 34+4 and have been in constant pain for days, apparently due to her weight having shifted further down Sad Didn't think it would be this bad!
