Chickenpox

Hi

I have recently been in contact with 2 people who have chickenpox. I think I have had it whilst I was younger but blood results show borderline immunity. Anyone else have this? Did you catch chickenpox?

I'm 22 weeks pregnant. I'm going out of my mind with worry!

This pregnancy has been worry after worry and now this.

What happens if I get it? Anyone had it at 22 weeks or more?

I haven't been in the same situation as you, but I was also very worried about this, as thought I hadn't had it in childhood, although blood test showed that I did have immunity. Chances are you have had it if you're showing borderline immunity, but also my doctor told me the later in pregnancy you get it, the less of a worry it is. Do talk to your doctor about it if you're concerned - they should help put your mind at rest - but it sounds to me like you would have to be very unlucky to catch it.
