Hi ladies, I keep searching for that feeling of 'this is it' but I'm still not sure... I have been recommended 2 great doctors by separate groups of friends:
Dr. Teoh at the Lindo wing st. Mary's
Dr. K Duncan at the Kensignton wing at C&W.

In terms of skills, I'm told they are both the best. And fortunately they are both available for my delivery date. I have meet them once already so I need to make a decision asap Confused

Dr. Teoh seems a lovely person to chat with, great manner, very calming and reassuring. It seems my natural fit however he seems busy, you need to always speak to his secretary and he might not be very easy to reach for small things (this is my first pregnancy). His scanning equipment at his office is quite basic, no 3D scans - the scans are my favourite thing and he doesn't do the Nuchal himself. At the lindo wing, they don't seem very friendly, at least for now, a bit too transactional and impersonal - still haven't been able to book a visit tour.

Dr. Duncan seems more serious, not really chatty but factual. It seems harder to have a conversation on how you feel but more like a Q&A session. Still gave me his mobile right away for any questions and was flexible to plan my next visit there and then. The equipment and facilities for all your consultations at his office are top notch and he is super detailed on his scans, which are one of his specialties (he leads gyneco at C&W). And the Kensington wing seems really nice and friendly. They received me right away walk-in and spent a good time talking through things. So this made me feel more comfortable.

They are both excellent doctors but the hospitals and methods seems so different. I'm not sure what is more important? How did you decide? Do you have any recent experiences at these places?

Thank you so much for any advise!

I would go with Dr Duncan. It's better to have professional and well equipped, than friendly but unavailable. To have been given a mobile number is gold from a consultant!

Thank you! That's good to hear :) I will confirm with him this week.

Hi, probably too late to add my input but I have Mr Teoh as my consultant and have been v happy. I had problems with bleeding and he would see me straight away and follow up to make sure everything was okay. His scans are v quick at each appointment as it's just to check heartbeat and I have been to Fetal Medical Centre for Harmony and Nuchal where the technology and service is excellent.
