Rant/first world problems alert.

On my way home from tumblies, its raining, I'm tired and hungry, ds is even more hungry, need to pick up milk, swung by lidl and saw a parent and child space and thought that space has my name on it, get cut up by some bint in a Honda jazz. Clearly neither disabled nor a parent with a child. Cheers love. Wrestle the boy out of the car while he kicks me repeatedly in the stomach cause he's pissed off at being hungry and the rain, makes himself like a rigid board so I can't carry him. Get milk, soaking wet, see the woman in the queue... she's picked up a tub of Greek yogurt and an onion!!! I thought she'd be doing her weekly shop!!!! Cheeky bloody cow.

I literally wanted to strangle her. I blame the pregnancy hormones.

So uncool.

I get the same rage. I generally say something to the offender though. Sure they think I'm just a hormonal bitch but I really don't care. It's plain rude!

This is why I firmly believe that parent and child spaces should be at the far end of the car park. That way they wouldn't get abused and we'd have room to get children in and out of their car seats.

ChicaMomma · 01/05/2014 12:19

I'm 33 weeks pregnant (with no other children) and used the P&C space last nite in our local shopping centre, on the justification that i've on on the way... is that wrong/rage enducing for already mothered people?? there were plenty of other free ones though, it's a HUGE car park.

So right they shouldn't be so desireable to lazy people. I just wanted a bit of room to get my massive belly and toddler out of the car comfortably.

Got no problems with disabled, pregnant, elderly people using them but I really felt like today I was the perfect candidate to qualify for one over someone picking up some muller and an onion. Grrrrrr!!

Interesting point Marrow! Might well solve things.

I never use them myself.

But I have been told off for using the disabled seat on a bus because I was "too young". I have a bump and a walking stick. Hmm The person didn't even want the seat, just being a busybody. Think they didn't notice the pregnancy/stick but still...only old people have disabilities? Gah.

squizita · 01/05/2014 12:50

...I never use them as this is my 1st- sorry that was in reply to Chica as to whether people use them when there's no one there.

Missvaughan85 · 01/05/2014 12:54

Did you know in some shops you can report them and the can be fined!!! I'd do it. Serves them right!!! It's one thing that winds me up!!

Some people are just unbelievably selfish .... Sadly there are loads of them around. Really pisses me off when I see people do this.
