Ladies, I'm 6 weeks and feel so bloated and gassy! Currently lying in bed while my tummy is making what can only be described as whale noises every few minutes. Is this normal? It's driving me mad! X

I did have a lot of wind issues around that time too. It did settle down quite a bit, but rather than bottom burps, it's normal ones. It's mostly your hormones causing all the changes in your body and it's completely normal.

Normal I'm afraid but won't last. Probably be replaced by something worse, pregnancy is full of fun body changes you had no idea about until you're screaming WTF!!!

I didn't know I was pregnant at this point but my god I had terrible wind !! Looking back now it's funny but rest assured it's pretty normal

Chipandspuds · 04/05/2014 11:01

Yep definitely quite normal I'm afraid! Grin

Very normal.. 14 weeks still suffering! Peppermint tea helps if you can suffer the taste... Mint cordial ... Nothing fizzy. And as my doctor said lay on your left knees up and fart away lol.... Good luck i know your pain

alita7 · 04/05/2014 11:05

Yep, I described myself as "30% whoopee cushion during hat period".
