laboraide anyone?

Just a quick one regarding laboraide.
Has any of mums here tried this or is this just a marketing trick?

Have seen people use it with good effect

Do they bite down on it or does it just hold their mouth open? I'm a jaw grinder by nature so hold tension in my jaw a fair bit. I'd love to have some more downward control during pushing as I expect a big baby)

I'd also like to avoid gas and air this time if possible.

Oh another thing. has anyone used them who vomited lots in birth. I vomited from the start of early labour until just before pushing.
