Whar symptoms or change in size at 11wks??

Just wondering if your waist has increased visibly at this stage? I'm currently 11 wks pg, but have had no change in my size or shape whatsoever. I'm still in my usual skinny jeans, no clothes are tight and no changes in size or tenderness etc with my boobs either. I had an MMC 2 years ago and am fairly sure this pg is going to end the same way. I have 2 DC and each of the 3 previous pregnancies i was bursting out of waistbands by now.

Scan isn't until 13 wks and i feel i'm resigned to hear the worst again. Midwife says maybe i'm just having a lucky pregnancy this time but i just don't feel pregnant at this point. I'm 41 so that is also playing on my mind. Surely i would be getting bigger by now?

Hi daisy - have you had any symptoms at all so far in this pregnancy? Did you have some early on?
I'm also on my 3rd pregnancy and am now 13 wks - but at 11 weeks my waist was visibly bigger and boobs too - v big and tender. However, please remember that every pregnancy is different and it could be the way the uterus is positioned - lots of people don't have bellies at your stage.
Can you not get some reassurance with a scan or Doppler? I admire you for getting this far without one. I had MC and MMC last year and had early scan at 8 weeks as couldn't bear uncertainty. Really hope all is well with your bean.., good luck. xx

My waist had no change, my boobs were bigger and my sickness/fatigue stopped. I was terrified! But all is well now, at 20 weeks I look like I'm smuggling a basketball and am constipated as anything.

Thanks for your replies - i've had nausea and tiredness this time around, but that happened last time too. There was a 2wk wait after the scan for the erpc and i felt sick and pregnant the whole time (was convinced they were wrong!)

This time i just don't feel pregnant and definitely no increase in waist at all. Just trying to prepare myself i guess. Nearest private scans are 45 mile drive and i just can't afford it unfortunately. Midwife tried to bring nhs scan forward to 12 wks but they're introducing the NT scan and blood tests as part of the 12wk scan from 1st may so she said it's all a bit chaotic.

On a plus side 2 friends have told me separately today that i'm glowing! So until the scan i'll just try and stay positive Thanks x

I am now nearly 13 weeks and still not really much change...at 11 weeks there was definitely no visible difference. My boobs grew a cup size but a friends of mine had no change at all in her boobs for the whole nine months. Everyone is different unfortunately as it offers no help if you're worriedly!

I'm due with dc2 in october My friend is due in August with her third, we are basically the same height and size and my bump is bigger then hers..
She is still wearing normal cloth where I'm already in maternity cloth..

I think every pregnancy is different!

Thanks for the replies. I think as it's my 4th pg, and my stomach muscles have never been particularly toned, i'm expecting to see the usual changes by now. It's going to be a long 2 week wait till the scan! X
