Stich like pain on and off all day?

Hi, first time pregnant lady here! I am nearly 24 weeks, and woke up in the night with a stich like pain in my lower abdominal on the right side, as well as lower back ache on the right hand side. It has been quite painful all day - like a dull ache. Should I be worried? Also, bump seems to have grown and hardened over night!

Sounds like round ligament pain to me, I had it all the time in 2nd tri with dd. It's the ligaments in that area stretching and moving to accommodate your growing bump.

I have this too. Called the midwife, as Sanch said MW said it was ligaments stretching. I had 1 bad day, and its faded - coincided with bump growing quickly!

Oh good, that is a relief - thought it was probably something like that but can't help worrying! x
