so
baby was moving around like a wild thing yesterday but today shes really quiet. She wont wake up and say hi to her daddy or her cat which normally sets her off.

She is moving, just smaller movements and not so noticeable and reactive.

I went to the midwife this morning all the "big" things are ok (heartbeat position and my bp urine etc) but was told if im still worried to ring at 3 and speak to them again.

Thing is baby's heads now 2/5s and last week she was 4/5s so could that count for the reduction in movement.

Other symptoms for me is bump and back are hurting a bit more (cramping type) and its harder to walk around..

im 37 and a half weeks.

If shes moving, albeit a little bit should i ring them at 3 or should i be happy that she is moving and that at this stage her movements will change?

My midwife told me last week any difference in movement ring the hospital incase they want to get you in to check you over, I'm sure nothing is wrong it's a just incase thing. :) congrats anyway.

The usual guidance is any change in movement should be checked out. If the pattern isn't entirely normal then ring at 3. It is almost certainly absolutely fine but why not get double checked?

Of course you may find what you are feeling in your back is labour! And 37 weeks is considered to be term.
