should I be worried? apart from being uncomfortable in the early days, they don't seem to have grown at all. I'm 26 weeks, normally an A cup and no sign of any boost.
boo hoo.

Don't be worried, everyone's bodies react differently. Mine don't feel any bigger at 22 weeks. Maybe the boost will come in the last couple of weeks?

TwigletFiend · 29/04/2014 09:59

I am not as far along as either of you, but mine were really sore for the first couple of weeks and I lived in hope that this was a sign they might expand.

Nope. Nada. Zip.

Still look like grapes on an ironing board.

Cariad007 · 29/04/2014 10:27

Mine didn't grow either and I stayed in my normal bras all through my pregnancy. 10 weeks post-partum I've gone up from a 34D to a 34DD but that's it.

flymo79 · 29/04/2014 10:39

thanks all - just feel vaguely ridiculous. big bump, small boobs!

I'm 39wks+2 and my boobs are barely any bigger than when they started out! I have had to go up from a 34 to 36 because my ribs have expanded, but cup size is still A/B. They did a bit of aching halfway through... I'm hoping they will do the business after the baby is born..!

squizita · 29/04/2014 10:41

Mine haven't changed as much as people say they will. I've gone up 1 cup size (and needed softer bras for comfort, hence bought new ones) but nothing like they say.

Provided scans and check ups go well, I doubt there's a problem. :)

RAFWife12 · 29/04/2014 11:40

Mine haven't changed much either. I bought new bras around 12 weeks, now 26 weeks and they haven't changed since! I was told when I got measured I would need to be measured and buy new roughly every 6 weeks, but that clearly isn't the case! I'm not too worried.

Justgotosleepnow · 29/04/2014 11:45

Mine didn't change much either, and even with Breastfeeding they haven't changed much. I suppose everyone is different!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 29/04/2014 11:47

Mine didn't change until after the birth, I too was an a cup. Went onto ebf 2DC. Really don't worry Smile

Have you come across kellymom yet? Great evidence based website for bfing mums and those who are thinking about bfing.

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 29/04/2014 12:06

I'm the same - the only changes I've had are the veins are really dark and prominent (which was one of the first signs I noticed) I don't think they've gotten any bigger and had no tenderness/pain.
I haven't been able to buy any maternity bras as there aren't any small enough! I have a huge bump to compensate though I have to admit I was sort of looking forward to having bigger ones for a while!

ohthegoats · 29/04/2014 12:31

I'm normally a GG/H cup, and no change in size here either (18 weeks) - thank GOD! Nipples have got bigger though.

RoseberryTopping · 29/04/2014 14:48

Count yourself lucky that you don't have to worry about stretch marks on your boobs, or buy new bras! Size doesn't make a difference when it comes to breastfeeding so try not to worry :)

flymo79 · 29/04/2014 15:49

good point roseberry, I'm reassured to hear wee tiny boobs can still do the business though!

Hi, I'm 30 weeks and despite looking like implants at the start of my pregnancy, they have now returned to normal if not a little bit droopier.
I'm still wearing my normal bras etc and I've not had any leaking or anything.

nickelbabe · 29/04/2014 16:17

mine didnmt grow either.
when.I got to 3

Bunbaker · 29/04/2014 16:20

I went up half a cup size. When I went to get nursing bras I was told that my boobs would grow two cup sizes so I bought some 34C bras, which I ended up taking back and swapping for 34As Sad

While I didn't sprout out they certainly worked and I BF DD for 6 months.

nickelbabe · 29/04/2014 16:21

whenni got to 37 weeks I went to buy some new bras. the lady in m&s told me I was a d cup.
no, actually, my back had grown from 32 to 34 but my cup size hadn't grown. a d cup was still too big.

now I'm breastfeeding, I had big boobs for about a week and back to normal.
I don't wear a fitted feeding bra, I wear one that's several.sizes innone and is perfect (soft cup and lots of hooksf
very good if your size fluctuates a lot once the baby's born.

nickelbabe · 29/04/2014 16:22

this one

Whereisegg · 29/04/2014 18:00

My boobs didn't grow at all with either pregnancy, then went up a cup size with feeding, then back to normal after they went on to ff.

Incidentally, I went from wearing a 36a pg, to 36b feeding.
Found a bra intervention thread on s&b a few months ago.

I have never been a 36a. I'm now wearing a 30d Grin

blamber · 29/04/2014 19:51

I was looking forward to bigger boobs! I thought it was a done deal that they would grow. I'm 10 weeks now and they're just the same old A cup size... booo!

mummytobejuly2014 · 29/04/2014 20:13

my back has gone from 30 to 32 to 34, all had to use back extender with each. refuse to buy a 36. my breasts gone a teeny tiny bit fuller but not bigger :(
majority of maternity clothes look silly on me cos bust isnt in proportion to what bump is and leave this extra flappy bit between breasts & bump

sambababy · 29/04/2014 23:52

I'm 38+2 and mine don't look much bigger than before pg when they were also small. My back has gone from 34 to 38 so I think this is why they don't look much different. Somehow I'm still in all the same bras (they must be pretty stretched!). I've heard when your milk comes in after birth they will grow and the back size usually returns a bit then too.

I bet you when we have hard, painful, leaky bigger boobs we will be dreaming of our former fried eggs!
