should be 9 weeks but embryo is only measuring 6, then along with the cramping and bleeding I'm afraid it very much looks like a missed miscarriage. The same thing happened to me in February, I'm so sorry you're going through this OP. Thanks

I'm v sorry mama it's a horrible situation to be in. They are usually very reluctant to nail their colours to the mast if a foetus measures around the six week mark because it's around that stage a heartbeat is expected to develop, but unless there is serious doubt over your dates and it's possible you are only six weeks along then it is likely you have had a missed miscarriage, where the baby died some weeks ago but your body has continued to produce hormones and think you are pregnant. NHS policy is to rescan in a week, in which time a viable 6 week pregnancy should have grown and developed a heartbeat, and a MMC will not have developed and you will be offered management.
