I am 9 weeks & 3 days. I rushed to the ER yesterday after 3 days of cramping and spotting but no back pain until 2 am yesterday & it was so painful!!. The DR looked with a spectrum said I had "dark blood in there"?
Then I got an u/s and she said the ultrasound only showed a 6 week fetus!?!? I don't have any pregnancy symptoms at all. Also, I go in tomorrow for HCG quantitative testing because in a normal viable pregnancy those numbers should double every 48 hours. I am so scared that I'm going to miscarry!! There is nooo way I'm only 6 weeks :(
Anyone have any advice I literally have every sign and symptom of a miscarriage so its hard to be hopeful. Boyfriend & I are pretty much preparing for the worst. :(

Hope you are ok and fingers crossed for you. I've been where you are are the waiting is just horrible - I just wanted to know what was going on, wether it was good or bad. Sending you lots of love and luck xx

Hi lovely. I am really sorry that it isn't sounding great for you at the moment. I am not going to try and get your hopes up and tell you that baby will be ok. But I will tell you that you (and your partner) will be ok.

It happened to me. I didn't have the violent cramping but I got to my 12 week scan to find that baby hadn't grown past 8 weeks and it was heartbreaking. If it happens then take time to accept it, take time to hurt and grieve and know this - it was nothing you did, it was not your fault. You are not going to forget but it does get easier and does hurt less as time goes on. Accept help offered and talk to the people you need to. As helpful and wonderful as my dh was, my mum came to rescue me and the night I miscarried she sat on the stairs with me for hours holding my hand and rubbing my back (she mc'd once at 16 weeks).

And when you are ready to try again it will happen for you. this one experience wont mean it is any more likely to happen to you again.

I know there is nothing I can say to help but know that you are not alone and you can do this xxxxxxx
