I am 2 months into my maternity pay and I have paid pension as if I was on full pay in my past 2 pay packets. This works out as a large chunk of my money as I have opted to be paid over 12 months also paying tax national insurance etc.
I have been on the phone to CAPITA and have been told that this will continue as they keep the pension contributions the same as if you were on your normal pay.
I cannot afford this so is my only option to stop paying pension while I am off?
