Everything is making me cross - tired and overreacting to everything. Threatened to eat all dd's remaining Easter eggs for non cooperation this morning, worked a treat but not my finest parenting hour. 18 wks pg. any tips for coping? So far today also I've thought about ringing dh up and berating him for the state of the house, crying and chucking in job! I suspect hormones :)

I suggest eating chocolate and snuggling under a duvet. if you feel up to it, go and feed some birds, it's unbelievably calming. Grin I remember this bit, it's shit.

I have this problem. Find myself wobbling between wanting to shout at everything & everyone & then wanting to blub over what a horrible person I am! I just take a breath & leave the room, so at least if I vent it's on my own rather than at my poor undeserving DP!

This is also great for a laugh:

Seriously. I cried the good kind of tears reading it.

Thanks both - it's so hard when you feel just totally looney!

Have a really good breakfast every morning. And if it carried on, go to the doctor. Prenatal depression is a thing, it really is, but it can be fixed.

I think I'm going to call in sick and take the day off - if it carries on I'll go to the dr. Hope it takes an upswing tomorrow!

I'm feeling much better today, thanks. Back at work and trying to concentrate (although not succeeding that well as on mn...)
