Can you eat goats cheese when pregnant?

A friend is getting married at the end if may and it's the veggie option for the wedding breakfast but not sure if I can have it.

Thanks

Fine if it's cooked.

It's fine as long as it's cooked as op said. At the hotel I work at we use pasteurised goats cheese too. It might be an idea to contact the venue and ask to speak with the chef. I'd always to be happy to answer questions for customers regarding the food we use.

Oh and if you don't feel comfortable eating goats cheese, don't be afraid to ask for an alternative.

It's uncooked mould-ripened goats' cheese that you're advised to avoid. I'm guessing it will be mould-ripened but you can get goats' cheese that isn't mould-ripened too.
