So I got my BFP a couple of weeks ago at 9dpo. The lines were faint but starting to get stronger when I took a Clearblue digital to settle it once and for all. It said pregnant 1-2weeks. Took another a week later (just because the was 2 in the pack!) but it still read 1-2weeks. I dismissed it as just being a terrible price of technology.

I'm 5w6d according to lmp. Last night I had a horrible dream about losing the baby and felt a desperate need to see a strong pink line so DH bought me a Tesco own brand just to settle my fears but on testing tonight the light is very, very faint. Almost negative. Then I wiped and found a small amount of brown discharge. Slightly sticky and watery. There is some cramping but not ultra heavy or painful.

Called out of hours doc who said I will just have to wait until Monday to see a GP. I'll then have a scan within 3 days if I haven't miscarried by then :(

The waiting is horrible. Is there any hope? What can I do? I feel like I can't wait until Tuesday to find out.

I have 4 dds and had bleeding with 3 of the pregnancies so there definitely is hope. Try not to worry.

Thanks, Candice Oddly, I'm not worried. Just sad and... Resigned I guess.

I had some bleeding with DD so I know it can be nothing but to have that nearly negative test too? It's really thrown me.

I had no bleeding with any pg though I have had 5 mcs....BUT I did have a very "faintly positive" as the mw called it, and that preganacy is a sleeping 6 year old right now, so, IMO faint or not, it is a positive. Hope this makes sense....? Good luck xx

To be honest, if you used a cheapy test it could just be that there is very little dye in it - they are obviously made to be as economical for the manufacturer as possible!

I had none of the bleeding and i had morning sickness and felt "pregnant". However, I still had the dreams and the thoughts and the endless craving to poas just to check.

The 12 week scan day I was convinced they wouldn't find anything and that I had been subject to a bad flu.

From the time the sonographer put the paddle on my tummy to saying theres the heartbeat were the longest 2 seconds of my life.

welcome to pregnancy. I truely hope it is "just" you worrying and that there isn't anything more serious going on. I just wanted to reassure you that panic and worry is normal and that seemingly little things can all be added up to big things.

Thank you all for your support and advice.

Unfortunately I've been bleeding bright red blood all night and have excruciating back pain and cramping. Another test with FMU was completely blank this morning.

Looks like it's over. I was being treated with Clomid and that was the last round so it feels even worse.

So sorry StrawbRhi, this is exactly what happened for me last cycle. Look after yourself and take as much time as you need.

bramblina · 27/04/2014 23:52

Gosh I am so sorry, I really am. xx
