i'm 40+2

been having niggly contractions on and off for the last few days. keep losing bits of mucous plug

I just want it all to kick off! I am ridiculously impatient and I definitely do not like not knowing when things will happen.
it's my 4th baby, so I really ought to be used to it Grin

anyone else waiting for things to start??

I am 39+5 and ready for it to get out now. I've been having Braxton Hicks since 19weeks but they feel different now. Hoping this means I might have one of the minority born on the due date (Monday). However well aware it could be another 2 weeks and that most first babies are late!

spottydolphin · 26/04/2014 16:31

I was convinced mine was going to arrive on his due date. Was having painful contractions every 5-10 mins, lasting about a minute.... Then nothing!

Norty baby :-D

It's my due date today and no signs! Irregular cramps for last couple weeks. Failed sweep yesterday as cervix too high. This is DC2 although I never laboured with DC1 as he was an EMCS for RFM/distress.

Got a consultant appt and scan on Monday morning (and having another sweep).

spottydolphin · 26/04/2014 18:38

My waters broke! Wasn't expecting that because they didn't go until late labour with the other 3.

Might have a baby by morning!!

Sending baby arrival vibes to you all Grin

40+6 here, and no twinges at all, apart from feeling a bit stabby down below. Had a sweep on weds, which did nothing.

Have had an active day today, outside with ds and dh, up and down hills etc, now settling in for a curry.

Come on baby beela!

Nahmate · 26/04/2014 19:54
