I'm just found out I'm pregnant I am over the moon the only thing is I'm worrying about losing baby. I had a missed miscarriage on the 7th January 14 I was 11 weeks when I started bleeding and then when I had the scan I found out the baby never developed properly and it was an empty sac. I am so scared it's going to happen again. I have two beautiful boys age 4 and 2 I don't think I could cope if it happened again.

I am sure you will be monitored very closely and given extra scans. Visualise your baby growing perfectly inside you and trust your body to make the perfect baby. I had a miscarriage after my first child, so I know some of what you are feeling. I went on the have another perfect baby and so will you!

Thank you. Yeah I'm booked to see the doctor next Friday. I feel al the symptoms and I'm feeling good and so happy. I'm trying not to worry but just can't help it xx

Ask for a reassurance scan at 8 weeks. A heartbeat at 8 weeks significantly reduces your chance of MC. I was really nervous after a MC between my DCs, and ended up with reassurance scans at 8 and 10 weeks (I should probably only have had one at 8 weeks, but the lovely midwife at the EPU took pity on me after I had sobbed hysterically through my 8 week scan having barely slept for a month, and offered to check again in a fortnight).

Aww I bet that was a relief. It's such a horrible thing to go through. Got to keep positive i feel so sick and bloated lol. Time always drags when you are waiting for a date. Xx
