Hospital driving me mad!!!!!

Everytime I attend the hospital for doctors and midwife appointments, they ask me if I want an elective c-section. So I always say no, I am definately sure I do not want a c-section.
Yet when I look at my notes afterwards, they have always put that i want to have a c-section.
At the last appointment the midwife actually put in the section for special instructions that I want a c-section at 39 weeks!
So today, I crossed it out! Pah!
What is wrong with these people?
I am beginning to think, in my pregnant and paranoid (maybe) state, that it is a conspiracy.
I feel so annoyed by the whole thing, I am almost tempted to not attend any more ante-natal appointments.

is there a reason why you would need a c section? i mean have you had one before for a medical reason or whatever?

I have had two c-sections.
The first for fetal distress, but when ds2 was born he had an apgar of 9. He definately did not look like a distressed baby. This was at fully dilated. The doctors stood looking at my nether regions and screaming at me to push, any wonder that I coundn't! A midwife came to see me afterwards and apologised to me, and said I should complain, and that there was nothing wrong with my ability to give birth, and the baby was fine.
The next c-section, I was induced, and forced to lie on my back, continuously monitered, and not even allowed to go to the loo. Also they caused me stress by constantly harranging me about sterilization, so unsurprisingly failure to progress!

i don't really know what to say, both experiences sound awful! i had a c section with dd2, and was told with dd3 that they would not induce me as it puts too much pressure on the scar. i guess it depends which hospital you are at? i am sure somebody will be on soon with better advice (by the way, with dd1 i used to write stuff in my notes all the time if something happened i didn't agree with, or ask to have additional sheets to be put in for me to use). lots of sympathy, i hope you get it sorted.

My hospital never do inductions after c-sections. Weere you induced becuase you were late or for a medical reason that may recur?
