... Can I trust it?

I am too scared to do a first response or clear blue , incase it is a negative.

Today is the first day of my missed period, I have symptoms of pregnancy - hot flushes, very sore boobs, nausea on and off and fatigue and vivid dreams ...

Hae any of you guys done an IC and it be right?

Last month I suffered a chemical pregnancy, that IC detected but no other tests did, so I am a bit wary...

Eek! Hope I am!

What's an IC test? Do you mean an Imternet cheapie?

Did you know they're the same as what the Dr uses? With clear blue you're just paying for the packaging not greater accuracy AFAIK.

I totally understand your reticence given last month, and I'm sorry you had to go through that, but you know you will at some point need to POAS.

We'll hold your hand :)

Keeping fingers crossed for you.

And yes, the Internet cheapy I did was right, as was thf one the Dr did.

All of your symptoms sound very promising btw :) as is the positive result!

False negatives are common. False positives are not.

Congratulations! :) :)

BTW I always say this whenever anyone mentions 'chemical pregnancy' (I was overlooked because of GP ignorance on this, and I was corrected by a gynie specialist). If you have a home pregnancy test BFP then a positive, although psychologically it's a 'chemical pregnancy' for many, clinically the egg will have implanted for at least 48 hours.

That's just academic for you because you have a good strong BFP now - but for some with fertility/MC issues it's a small but important distinction to know when you speak to medics.
