I know its common to have back and leg pain, but from the top of my lower back to my leg is sore when i get up or sit down or even to walk at times. Could this be sciatic nerve??

Could be sciatica. I had this very bad. I would just be standing in the supermarket and move and pain would shoot down my leg. What is spd?

Hi, I have sufered with SPD with my last 3 pregnancies and have discovered yet again that I am pregnant about 6/7 weeks and the spd has already started - I have my ideas of what to do just wondered if anyone else could come up with usefull painless tips - apart from crutches, support belt (which is a nightmare!) and morphine!!

Hi, I have suffered on & off with Sciatica for years but am recently getting pains when I lay in bed/sit on sofe if I move my buttocks. If I clench them it sort of hurts in hip/buttocks region. I thought it was sciatica at first but the location is weird. is this what spd feels like. I also have a rotten cold so thought it was just general aches & pains but it has got worse over last 5 days.

Nemo1977 · 25/08/2006 11:29

lullabell no advice hun just sympathy. Had nspd quite badly with dd and it was horrendous. Luckily this pregnancy as yet it hasnt kicked in too badly.
