Morning sickness this pg, didn't on last?

I have a baby of nearly 7 months. Am seven weeks pg and sick this time around?

We're your pregnancies different ?

It might ease down after placenta takes over.
I have a 7 month old and pregnant 14 weeks.
Up to week 8 I couldn't even change my sons dirty diaper. :-) I was so sick. I was extremely tired, and had a lot of headaches that I was bedridden.

And since week 8/9 If my bump wouldn't grow I wouldn't even say that I'm pregnant.

Not a single instance of morning sickness with DD. Lots of heartburn though.

Now 27 weeks with my first DS and had loads of sickness but no heartburn as yet!

I think it will be great. They will be into the same things and be great friends and company for each other.

I had sickness in both. With DD it was constant nausea, morning, noon & night for 22 weeks. I couldn't eat anything - it was horrible. With DS it wasn't as constant but when it did hit it was much more intense and horrible. It would always be worst round dinner time and in the early evening. I couldn't even lift my head. However, it went away about 14/15 weeks this time.

Oh and had bad heartburn with both babies!

By the way Littlegreen and hartmel - there is only 15 months between my DC, and whilst is is hard work when they are very small (DS wasn't walking when DD was born - lazy little toad!), it's great when they're a little older.

I am planning on batch cooking and getting online shopping for a while. Also dh saving holidays so hopefully will have a few weeks. My own mother isnt well and mil is elderly but dh was great when baby arrived.

My nausea seemed worst this time, and lasted much longer too. I think the tiredness (of looking after your first, so you can't lounge around all the time) has something to do with it.

My tip would be a bit late now!!

No, seriously, DD was a surprise and we were very worried about coping (particularly as DH and I run our own business). I was hospitalised for the last six weeks because I was still trying to be the perfect mother with DS (who had his own health problems) and pushed it too much. So take it easy!!!

My biggest tip to any mother - don't try and be perfect, you'll be perfect for your DC (on the whole) and that's all that matters.

This is probably not the case for you at all, and entirely anecdotal, but my MIL was extremely sick during only one of her three pregnancies, and when her son was born he was severely lactose intolerant. She realised afterwards that a lot of the morning sickness had been in response to dairy.

She avoided lactose during her next pregnancy (making sure to get calcium from other sources!) and was fine - saying that, the baby in that case turned out to have no problem with dairy products.

I apologise for that being totally anecdotal, and it's in no way an expert opinion, but might be worth bearing in mind.

I imagine it's 99.9999% likely to be normal morning sickness, but if it gets really bad it could be worth experimenting a little with certain foods just in case.

I know it will be extra work with the two so close but I'm looking to day the day where they will best friends and playing together..
I also have a wonderful DH who helps out a lot.. Plus my mom lives two miles away.
