Hey all

I am not starting to freak!

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow... Im 5'8 and have a BMI of 30! My weight is 88.2kg so yeah im overweight!

Soooo worried my scan isnt going to go well tomorrow :(

It will be fine dont worry. They might just have to press a little harder with the scanner thing to get a clear enough picture but thats all. Your midwife should be able to answer any of your questions about how your weight might affect your pregnancy but ive read lotsa stories with other ladies being overweight and not having any problems :) she should of already advised on these things anyway x

My bmi was 32 at my scan and picture was clear. I did drink a lot of water though.

My bmi is over 35 and my scans have been fine, even the early scan i had at 10 weeks. Don't worry x
