ANYONE GOT PG WHILST BF AND NO PERIODS?

really wow thats so good, how long after trying did you get your BFP. daft as it sounds i feel upset in a happy way to know its possible xx

I did, my dd was 5 months when I fell pg with ds, shocked but oh so happy!!!

To those that were trying how long did it take and when did you know when to test as obviously having no af to no!

well i thought i was as i got a faint 2nd line, but since been told that the 2nd line has to be as strong or strongr than the other line to be positive. It was only very faint.

I threw up and it hurt loads (toe curling pain!) when dd was feeding! I didn't throw up on dd tho!!

AFAIK a period is the end of your cycle and not the beginning. So all of us who got pg with "no periods" just got pg on the first cycle when we ovulated

is that right????

I conceived when dd was 12 months old, had not been using any contraception since she was born, found out I was pg at 9 weeks - had tested because I was feeling queasy all the time.

I didn't, but my friend did get pregnant without a period between second and third children. (=Extended breastfeeding.) Yep, KristinaM, that is how I understand it too. Hope to hear news from you soon then, cherrypie556!

i stopped bf ds1 at 5 weeks but still hadnt had a period when he was 3 months old.i went to the doc to get the pill and they did a pg test to check as i hadnt had a period and it was positive.and condoms were being used,carefully,at the time.i didnt think it would be possible that quick but there u go.i have living proof upstairs lol

Blimey, well i definately feel more positive now, reading al this. I just hope this heartburn is something as its really bad and ive only ever got it when pregnant,but not wanting to get my hopes up. i have tested today and was a BFN which i expected, hold out till next wed now if i can! xxx

Well AF turned up this morning, something i thought i would never be happy to see, so at least now i know by bodies working again. HOORAY!!!!!

Wasn't AF afterall, wiped myself, slimey blood so thought it was after 4 hrs with a TP and 11 hrs with a pad, nothing! So thinking it must be an implantation bleed although i ve never had i've before. so now just have to figure out when to test as clueless, maybe monday im thinking as my Hcg levels should be well up by then!

Yes I have ds3 is nearly 8 months and i found out a fortnight ago that I am pg again.
This also happened when dd was about 9 months and I had ds2.
Should have learned my lesson really!

Make sure you let us know Cherrypie! I think it takes a couple days from implantation to secrete enough hormones.
If it was blood streaked CM its also possible that you are ovulating rather than pg so lots of baby dancing just in case!

Yes, I did but lost the baby at around 10 weeks. Went on to have a wee baby girl now eating her tea and covered in tomato sauce!

just read through, had implantation bleed with ds too and also thought it was af at first but 2 months later still hadn't had af, was shockingly tired and nauseous so did test. was 10 weeks at that stage!
