37 week and im in a lot of pain

I'm 37 week pregnant with second baby I have tryed pain killers a warm bath a dp rubbing my back but I still have these following symptoms

My bump is killing me with these tightening cramps

Also pain in lower back

Heavy feeling in the you know what's

Pain semi regular

Waters still intact and no sign of a show

Pain on a scale of one to ten would be about 8

Can anyone advise me what to do please

Phone labour ward. If I was you id want to looked at see if anything was happening!

Call the unit and go in. It could still be labour without waters or a show.

I have had three Dds and didn't have show it waters with any of them. The second two labour's were under an hour.

Make sure when you phone you say how much pain you are in. Can you talk when you are contracting?

No I can't talk when pain hits but I've had these tightnings before I called mw and they admitted me for a few days but nothing happened so they sent me home

This time how ever is much worse and more intense I don't want to call mw just in case they want to admit me again just to send me home again

Don't take any chances.
My second labour was 1.5 hours.

OMG samandkat I could have written your thread myself, that is exactly how I am feeling, second baby and currently 37 + 4! I have sporadic stomach ache/pain and constant lower back pain today. I had to call DH home from work as I was in such discomfort I couldn't focus on DS1. I am currently sat on sofa with baggy t-shirt on and hot water bottle on my lower back.

I think this may be a sign of our bodies getting ready to go but now I'm over worried about labour if these pains are anything to go by!

Let me know if any other symptoms occur and try a hot water bottle on your back xx
