I'm 11 weeks pg (well will be tomorrow) and this is my second pregnancy it's turning out to be much worse than the first which was pretty bad. I'm trying not to worry but I'm getting really bad aches from about the middle of my ribs to the top of my hips. I'm also having aches around the front of my tummy.

I sat up funny in bed the other night and it felt like I pulled a muscle in my tummy so I think this might have caused it but not sure.

Has anybody else had this? I've taken a couple of paracetamol but they've not done anything.

Has anybody got any suggestions on how to stop the pain?

tia

its prob everything stretching etc,the ligaments that join the pelvis and that all soften up in pg and ive found that the aches and pains get worse with each pg.im 11 wks gone with no.5 now and i was taken in for a scan at 5 wks cos the pains in my lower abdomen were so bad they thought it was ectopic.
i dont find paracetamol help much, and i dont think u can take owt else.i find the only thing that eases my back pain is going on all 4's(my kitchen floor was very clean last time i was pg).i dont think its anything to worry about though
