Hi, I've been told that I have to have a third shot of methotrexate for an ectopic in my right tube. My hcg levels are low at 178 and the highest they got to was 320, but even after two shots of mxt they have been going down really slowly. I know that there is a high chance a third shot won't work but I'd like to save my tube as my other one is blocked after surgery from an ectopic last year.
Has anyone had a third shot of methotrexate and did it work? If so how long did you have to wait to try to conceive?
