I have always slept on my side, and now obviously do so as I'm 19 weeks pregnant. Also I don't know if this is relevant but I have a big sturdy pelvis compared to my body size and a smallish bump, haven't gained loads of weight I wouldn't say (can still wear regular clothes with stretch in them and jeans with the old 'hair bobble' trick under the bump).
However, over the last 3 weeks or so, after a few hours sleep, I wake with pain in my hip/pelvis (that is on the underneath). It feels like I've been resting on concrete or something: really sharp/bruised on the bone/muscle? Also like it is 'out of alignment'. I have tried cushions etc'. I roll and sleep on the other side, but by 5am both sides are 'used up'! Weirdly - I don't have hip pain in the day.
Is this normal or something worth mentioning to the MW?
Any ideas to to solve it?
