Labour or bh?

I've wrote a post on here the other day about me being induced tomorrow.

I had a sweep Wednesday night and 1hr and half later I lost my plug I think. Big snotty clear tinged yellow, tmi

Other than that no signs or symptoms the sweep has done anything.

Work up early hours went to loo and wiped and again thick snot like blob of EW CM. Woke up about 7 this morning with period pains all around my back and then needed a poo bad. So I assumed pains were because of that.

After poo still have constant period cramps and unlike bh when I move they don't go.
Is this early labour or just bh. I'd love to go in to labour naturally rather than be induced.
I'm 40 weeks 1 day

It could be early signs but to be honest only time will tell. My midwife always said if you had to ask if it was labour, it wasn't.

I don't know why you were going to be induced, but it's always your choice, even at this late stage. You could opt to stay home a few more days and see if things progress.

Sorry I meant to put I've got pre eclampsia that's why they are inducing me...desperate to go in to labour naturally rather than be induced.

It sounds like your body is certainly gearing up for the real deal. Maybe it just needs a push to get going properly. Try going for a good long walk and bouncing on a irth ball if you have one,, otherwise tesco do them for a fiver. Good luck!

Waters broke not long after post been to hospital cervix still closed so just waiting game. If nothing had progresses by 9 tomorrow morning I'm being induced but at least waters have broke I really didn't want them to have to do it.

Was sure they did a sweep on me lol but it was just an internal the other day as cervix was closed. Felt like such an idiot at hospital lol but least my body is doing things on it's own. :D. X

Yay! Definitely get walking or bouncing now. Hopefully it's all systems go very soon!
