anyone else heading for post dates induction?

I'm 40+9 with second baby and looks like I'm headed for induction on Wednesday as this baby is far too comfy in there :(

Was induced with first at +5 after waters went and nothing happened quick enough. That was fine but had horrible experience in post natal ward and therefore had planned home water birth again to avoid hospital.

Anyone else in similar position? Feeling increasingly depressed about it and thought we could cheer each other up/moan together :)

Induction doesn't necessarily mean post natal stay. I was induced at 10pm, had DD at 8.58am, discharge papers done by 12 noon, left hospital at 2.30pm- 5.5 hrs after delivery. Had propess induction and managed with just has and air x

Aw, thanks for the reply - half an hour after I wrote that post I went into labour and gave birth at 2.40pm later that day :)

The post natal stay with ds was due to feeding difficulties, and I was worried the same would happen. Thus far she's a pro and my nips are raw
