Potato skins with cheese sauce, had to be from the same restaurant, nothing else would do (got very expensive!) felt bit horrible but not sick - boy (who is a fussy eater!)

Minstrels and cheese and onion crisps and couldn't eat or drink a damn thing else without being sick for the first trimester - boy (who's about as fussy but on different thigns)

Currently pregnant again, craved CHIPS AND MORE CHIPS, tomato soup, beef super noodles and crunchies for the first three months - now hate them all (apart from the chips!) and can eat normally at last, and only felt a bit "off" this time - maybe its a girl?!

Bacon, even though i'd never eaten it before (been veggie since i was 11), of course i gave in. And sparkling water - it was a boy! Gone off the sparkling water totally now but the bacon still makes a reappearance...

swalesie · 23/08/2006 10:33

Im about to have my first next month and they tell me its a boy, my cravings so far have been, smoked salmon, parma ham, scottish butter tablet and champagne, not sure if the last one was just a good excuse tho! Either way i think this will be one expensive baby!

NomDePlume · 23/08/2006 10:36

Anything cold - ice lollies, ice cubes, etc. I was also addicted to fish, I'd never really liked it pre-pg. I used to stand by the fish counter in Tesco because I loved the smell . DD is 4 now and I still really like fish, funnily enough she loves it too.

(I had a girl)

monkey · 23/08/2006 10:46

gin & tonic. unfortunately (had to make do with tonic) and I could not go near lettuce because it smelt of blood to me. Had a boy, the only food he won't touch is lettuce.

Elibean · 23/08/2006 10:48

chocolate and sweet things first time, girl.

lime pickle, curry, milk second time, girl.

EvesMama · 23/08/2006 11:37

doesnt look to be much of a pattern does there?

Flamesparrow · 23/08/2006 11:38

poppadums and popcorn - girl

fruit, fruit, fruit, poppadums and popcorn - boy

Bagpuss30 · 23/08/2006 11:47

With both boys it was cheese and fish, with dd it was beef and chicken, oh, also anything with vinegar too.

Bigmerlin · 23/08/2006 11:59

DD - was pretty sick. Craved extra mature cheddar (couldn't stand it before or since), melon (she is a melon addict now), and fruit ice lollies. Couldn't stand chocolate or sweets smell - couldn't go in Woolies because the pic & mix smelt too strong!

This time (will be a boy). Not sick. Pepsi and salt and vinegar crisps.
