Wedding rings and pregnancy

Basically, we're you able to wear your wedding rings all the way through your pregnancy?

I not, when did they come off and how long post natal was it before you could wear them again?

I'm 19 weeks and already have to take it off at night as it hurts my fingers as they swell at night!

Last time, ring came off at about 6/7 months and I couldn't get it back on for a year... This time, the ring I wear on top of my wedding ring came off about a month ago (I'm 33 weeks) but wedding band seems fine. I'm drinking water like it's going out of fashion to avoid the awful odema I had last time though, and raising my feet at every opportunity.

I take mine off every night and always have (am 7 weeks with my first). My mum was 12 days overdue with me and towards the end woke up one morning with her fingers totally swollen around her rings and had to go to a jewellers to get them cut off!!! The thought of it makes me so claustrophobic, so I've always taken them off.

Here's a weird one: I'm 19 weeks, seem to be gaining just the 'average' amount of weight so not giving it a thought.
BUT MY HANDS ARE SHRINKING! I swear they are!

Just now I was bagging up some rubbish and my wedding ring nearly flew off my finger into the bag of cr*p from the under stairs cupboard. Confused

Weird or what? I have heard of hands/feet changing size... forever. I wonder if this shrinkage will offset my swelling later?

I left mine on but boy I should have taken it off. Was heavily pg through summer & my hands & feet really swelled & got to a point where I couldnt remove them. At night I would wake up with horrendous pins & needles in my fingers where it was cutting off the circulation. & they werent impressed when I went in for my section with my rings on! This time around I will be taking them off by 20weeks at the latest!!

Last time they came off at 30 weeks and were back on two weeks after the birth.

I don't think they'll last that long this time!

Last time I kept mine on. I have small fingers and didn't swell. I did take them off at night though just as a precaution.

I've already had to take mine off once and I'm only 5 weeks!
I'm a bloater though, if this ones anything like the last, I'll be buying maternity jeans in 3 weeks.
