Finally manged to download the Vancouver antenatal guidelines (was worried about missing the amnio window when I got there).
For booking in, you have to undergo a full physical with a thorough exam of breasts and nipples as well as a thorough vaginal with cervical smear. Ooh, makes my stomach turn....
All seems a bit invasive and unecessary - is anyone able to shed any light on what goes on here?
