I have had a terrible last 12 months (not getting pregnant, this is hopefully the start of better times) with health - developed an eye infection from contact lenses that sent me blind in my left eye.
Still having treatment for it and front part of my eye is still damaged (epithelial layer has a 1mm hole in it) so I have monthly consultant appointments.
On Monday I had my last appointment and they fitted a bandage contact lens as normal, which should last 4 weeks. It has just fallen out after 2 days of discomfort.
I have my scan at the hospital tomorrow so am already stressed but asking for MORE time off from work (3rd time in week) is going to be a nightmare.
Why did it have to happen tonight when I have so much worry about tomorrow already? :(
And of course crying is agony, literally salt in wound :(
