Restless Legs and bright light

My restless legs (driving me nuts!) is definitely triggered by low light levels (evenings, night-time, cinema etc) and eased/solved by staring at bright light from mobile phone (brightness on full) laptop (ditto), and my daylight spectrum SAD lamp. Takes a few mins to kick in. Something to do with melatonin/dopamine balance at low light levels I suspect. Domestic light bulbs have a yellowy light and you'll need a bluey light for this to work. Anyway, worth a try?

I've had restless legs since i was a child, only every now and then, it's worse when you think about it, i try now to watch tv in bed until i'm falling asleep (not good i know) or i do a suduko/wordsearch other puzzle type thing to get my mind working on that until my eyes want to shut down. I hate it when you worry about getting it and of course you get it, i also try minimal movements like twitching a toe and also what does work is putting your leg in a stretch, if i'm on my side i lift problem legs knee right up to my chest or if on my back, okay atm as only 18wks, i tuck my foot under my bum, that's a big stretch.

I never thought about light, i've heard before about shining lights at the back of your kness to help with jet lag so maybe worth ago, not sure what dh will think if he wakes up and i've got a torch app on my phone running under the duvet :)
