Is 39 too old and is 5 too many? Can't imagine how this would work? Eldest 20, next 13,10 and 4. Half of me wants to squeeze another one in and the other wants half wants to get a life!! Any advice would be great!!

I'm pregnant with number 5, eldest is 13 and youngest 2. No advice as I'm still thinking oh shit but I'm sure we'll squeeze it in somewhere Smile

I'm pregnant with no 5, almost the same as Brian - eldest (girl) 12 and 3 boys are 8, 6 & 2.
Absolutely no idea where another girl would go as dds bedroom is tiny and she can't share wih an almost 13 year age gap.

Waiting for scan now, so will hopefully know sex within he hour; then we start planning.

Finances ok for this? DH on board? Should your body be able to cope?
I think my first concern would be the practicalities.

5 is not too many...my first thought was how you would all fit in the car and then I realised that your oldest probably has his/her own car, so that would be fine (presuming that you already have a 7 seater).

39 is def not too old (I am having DC4 @ 40ish)...it would be great, your older Dc's would probably love it (it would be great experience for them when they come to have their own DC's) and your 4 year old would have someone to play with when the older ones are out doing their own thing.
