I'm 7+6 and proper egg-bound, me! Does anyone have any ideas to get my innards moving? Help MUCH appreciated Confused

I've been drinking a lot, plenty of fruit and veg (7-9 portions a day) prune juice, walking and swimming and it didn't work, I was prescribed lactalose, which seems to have done the trick! Ppl think it's funny, but I've been in incredible pain with some of them! Some of them have been like mini births themselves!

2 words: prune juice Grin

It shifted the worst constipation I'd ever had - during all three of my pregnancies.

Also start drinking a glass a day when you get near the end of your pregnancy and it will help with the post partum poo! (I also get very constipated after giving birth and this saved me!)

Oh and congratulations!! :)

OMG yes prune juice is the thing. Just a glass before bed, every night (any more and it's the reverse problem if you catch my drift!).

Grin thanks ladies. I'll get some prune juice and give it a go! And LOL at mini birth!! I know just what you mean...

I always drank boiling water with fresh lemon squeezed in. Still do if I ever need it and it works brilliantly.

UPDATE (because I know you were just dying to hear Grin)

I can confirm that prune juice works a treat! Heck, that stuff is quick.

Another prune juice fan here! An orange a day as well.
