Trampolining?

Anyone know if trampolining is OK on pregnancy? I'm only 9 weeks and friends have decided to go to a trampolining place with our DC today. Not sure if I should go or join in if I do go. Any ideas?

If I was third trimester it would be a definite no obviously because it would be uncomfortable (!) but at 9 weeks it won't be uncomfortable but not sure if it's a good idea either...

The only danger is coming off the trampoline mid bounce, the landing could be rather dangerous as it is without risking baby.
If there are guards and crash mats then the chances of you doing any damage is slim to none.
Just stick to bouncing as high as you feel comfortable and avoid any risky moves like flips to avoid going flying.

Did you go in the end and have a go. I used to be a coach but gave up my sessions to try to conceive i just didn't want to risk it

I did go along actually and it was fine! It was more like a bouncy floor than a trampoline. I was worried it might just be lots of individual trampolines up high that you had to climb onto and that there might be a risk of falling from but it was more like a huge gym with trampolines built into the floors and solid bits in between that you can walk on IYSWIM so totally safe and easy to keep my balance. And fun!

Glad I went but I would probably have avoided it if it was individual trampolines that you could fall from.
