I've had all day sickness since about 5 weeks. Am 13 weeks now... It started to ease off a bit and I hoped I had turned the corner but now it's returned with vengeance... Do you have a hormone increase around now that could explain it? Feeling so crappy, it's back to its worst and I just wanna cry! Please give me some hope!

I dont know the answer to your question but will offer a hand to hold and some sympathy. Nearly 13 weeks myself and my nausea has returned with a vengeance. Didnt have MS as such early on, just a travel sickness type feeling. It disappeared by 8 weeks and came back a couple of days ago. I will hazard a guess that its something to do with this stage of pregnancy.

I got myself some sea bands and they provide some relief.

Sorry you are struggling. It could well be hypermesis I'm afraid which some of us have. If you visit the hypermesis thread there is lots of advice and support there on what to eat/drink and medication available.

There are drugs you can take which are perfectly safe in pregnancy. No point in struggling on. Do visit your gp ASAP as you could end up dehydrated or malnourished which would mean a spell in hospital and can be dangerous. Thanks

As in the dehydration and malnourishment could be dangerous, not hospital!

lol zuid hospitals can be dangerous too!

Sorry op, I didn't have ms as bad but, had hormone related sciatica which flared up at different hormone surges. If I remember rightly they were 8wks, 14, 18, 24, 28, 32and 36 weeks.

Not saying your ms will flare upnat those times but they are big hormone surges.

Go to the go, eat before you wake i.e food in mouth and chew and swallow before sitting up in bed!! and remember why you became pregnant!!!

Thank you for your suggestions and sympathy. I was put on cycyzline at around 8 weeks and toolkit for a day and felt terrible so came off it. Felt like a zombie and was still sick. I know I probably didn't give myself chance to get used to it but I hated the way it made me feel. I do have some travel bands, maybe I'll get those out again. Today I've spent the entire day in bed. Has definitely helped but obviously not very practical! X

Go back and try a different sickness medication there are a few so definitely worth not giving up yet. I'm still sick every day (eve) many times but if not on medication would be all day every day- as proven when I tried not taking it...Sad
