Dear all,

Desperately trying to find pregnancy yoga classes in Enfield, Winchmore Hill, Palmers Green, Southgate area?? I have managed to get one number from my midwife, but no answer yet. This is my second child and I'm really keen to do yoga to help me deliver labour as much as possible. Can anyone help?

Mrsbg,

Had a little girl on Thurs 11th Jan called Jemima Rose weighing a mighty 10lbs 8oz!!!! Giant baby! My midwife and delivery team at Chase Farm were brilliant. It was really hard work to push her out but I did it. Back home getting to know our little bundle.

On the posterior thing...do a search on the childbirth bit or ask a question - there are a number of doulas on MNetters and they seem to have great info. I think there are ways to help the baby turn pre labour like getting on hands & knees and spending time on birthing ball but I'm not sure. My sister's no 3 was posterior - she did say it took more work to push him out, but it went ok for her.

Hope labour goes well - I'm sure it will - I was really impressed by the labour suite midwives. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Galmum,

Congrats on your little girl!! How exciting. Our son, Luca Michael was born on January 26th. He is absolutley brilliant and beautiful.

The team at Chasefarm were great. The labour was very long, and he was posterior, and so he came by way of C-section.

The whole experience was marvellous.

Good luck with Jemima Rose, what a beautiful name.

xx

Fantastic news and I love the name Luca - 26th Jan is my birthday too!!

So glad to hear that the birth went well, despite him being the wrong way round and it being a long labour.

Good luck too - I'm sure we'll both be very busy!!
