Hi all, Im a first time mum to be. I am 19+2 and keep getting a pain on the left hand side only of my tummy just below the belly button. I 'think' I am also just starting to feel movement. Is this a normal pain/is it normal to be primarily carrying on one side at this stage or should baby be changing sides quite a bit at this stage. It is like a stabbing pain if I move suddenly or stand up but passes straight away.

Hiya, not an expert by any means (am 36w with first too) but sounds like ligament pain, particularly if you get it when moving. I had similar and still do occasionally. I would check it out with midwife/antenatal unit if you have a number. Always worth asking for reassurance x
