Oh no threadworms

I'm really early in my pregnancy at about 6w5d but just realised I've got the dreaded threadworms. I work with children so not entirely unexpected. I've read on google there isn't anything I can do medication wise. Is that really true? I'm not sure I can cope 8 months like this. More embarrassingly no way I can be in labour with them squirming about. Oh this is not good, does anyone have any advice?

I'm not sure whether or not you can take medicine but 6 weeks of very good hygiene (lots of laundry and vacuuming and nail scrubbing) gets rid of them, too.

The NHS website has all the details on the hygiene stuff.

So def no medicine? I'd wait till 12 weeks.

My ds had these a few wks back. No medicine for you but make sure everyone else in the house does have some. Everything needs washing once everyone has been treated, bedding etc. Google for the daily hygiene stuff you need to do, it's nothing much but helpful stuff like wearing pants at night to prevent it spreading. As pp said 6wks and it sshould be sorted, 6wks is their life cycle.
