had the best news yesterday. Been accepted in my home city to do Medicine after I return from Canada (Sep 2005). Sooooooooooo excited, yet nervous of having a sprog as well (this Sep)!

I know this is totally irrelevant to the preggers topics but I feel like shouting it from the rooftops

Well done

That is fabulous. Wonderful. Congratulations. Is there a creche/nursery attached to the course you can check out now - so that you zap all childcare worries on the head even before baby arrives, you lucky thing?

highlander · 17/03/2004 17:05

The childcare worries belong to DH!

Thanks for all your best wishes; means a lot to me!

Excellent news, well done

Whereabouts in Canada are you going to be? My parents used to live in Hamilton and I have a friend there now.
It's such a beautiful place

Hi Thomcat, I'm going to be in Vancouver. DH says it rains a lot and reminds him of living in Glasgow - surely not!
I guess I'll be looking for advice on waterproof prams!
