Really sore bump at 37 weeks

It's my second pregnancy but I was never really aware of BH or pains in my first, just had a bit of backache and felt a bit uncomfortable. This time, my bump keeps tightening and becoming incredibly hard and protruding, which I assume is BH. But when it happens it also becomes really sore and tender to the touch. As I thought BH weren't supposed to be painful, I wondered if anyone else finds them accompanied by this kind of pain? It's not the muscular pain of a contraction, it's more like that feeling of sore breasts in the first trimester where you want to kill anyone who brushes past them except it's the bump that is sore, not boobs. Anyone?

I have this too - I'm only 22 weeks but I'm expecting triplets so have a pretty sizeable bump. I also have a nearly permanent numb patch round my belly button which feels sore to touch.
The only solution I've found is to put my feet up and rest. Ive also heard that bh can be made worse by dehydration so I try and keep my fluids up.
I hope this helps!

Thanks - triplets, wow! I definitely can't complain about my bump! I've got the sore spot around the belly button as well and sometimes the belly button itself stretches out flat. I just didn't notice this last time around!

Yep, my bh are usually pretty uncomfortable and lately accompanied by cramps too (39wks). There's also a spot where she keeps poking me and it's really sore.
