I'm 37+6 today and my waters went about an hour ago. Just arrived at the hospital to get checked out...

The hospital confirmed my waters had gone, checked us both and have sent us home. Hopefully contractions will start on their own otherwise I have to go back in at 11pm tonight to be induced. Having period like pains that come and go atm but not started recording them yet.

Good luck! Hopefully the baby comes before you have to get induced..

Just a quick update... I have been in slow labour all day with very irregular contractions. Unless things really pick up within the next 4 hours I will probably need to be induced.

Thanks ladies! Currently sat on the maternity ward waiting to be taken to the delivery suite. I'm already 2-3cm so they are missing out the gel and putting me straight on the drip. Totally terrified but know there is no going back now. Have requested an epidural which they have said I can have but have to wait until I've had a few contractions on the drip first.
